Encaustic Card Making - Class
Have you ever painted with an iron? In this class we will learn the basics of Encaustic painting using the Encaustic Iron as our paintbrush. We will begin with a few pieces of Encaustic paper and learn how to melt the coloured beeswax onto the iron and then transfer it to the paper. We will try out a few tools to make marks in the wax and the effects of applying multiple colours at once.
Once you are comfortable, we will move on to create 5-7 paintings that we can mount to greeting cards, ready for giving. See the additional info below for class sizes / locations.

This class can be taught in my home studio or at a location of your choosing. It does require power and a table for a work surface. I can supply heat protective coverings for your table as well. This class can be taught one on one or for small groups up to 6 people.
