Mixed Media with Encaustic - Class

Have you ever wanted to try using various mediums but weren’t willing to spend the $$ to buy them just to try? Come and try gel mediums, acrylics, alcohol inks, gelato sticks, oil stick paints, encaustic medium, collage papers, plaster, stamps, India inks and more! We try out various techniques on a practice canvas and then you will use a wood canvas to create a mixed media art piece for you to take home.

We can choose a theme / project to create or you can use your imagination to create your vision in this 1/2 day class.

This class is taught in my home studio or a large space of your choosing and takes about 4-6 hours to complete. You are welcome to bring items to add you your artwork such as papers, napkins, fabric, beads or buttons, small rocks or shells you’ve collected, lace, doilies etc. Plan to get messy , I recommend wearing clothing you are not precious about! This class can be facilitated 1 on 1 or in a group. Group discounts may apply for groups larger than 6 so give me a call or pop me an email to discuss.
